iPod shuffle に関する考察
液晶がないことで、曲名、アルバム名などが表示できない。明らかに他の製品に比べたらデメリットだと思うが、液晶がない分、製品自体の価格を抑えることができるというメリットもある。Appleが『液晶がない』というデメリットを消すために付けた名前が『iPod shuffle』なのだろう。「シャッフルするんだったら、液晶なんて必要ないでしょ？」という感じで、デメリットを隠し、逆に iPod 、iTune で定評のある『シャッフル機能』をアピールしているである。まあ、きれいにまとまってるなって印象だけど、従来の iPod とはまた違う使い方になるのかな？
従来の iPod のコンセプトは
- 自分の持ってるCDを全部iPodに入れて、聞きたい曲、アルバムを再生する
というような内容だと思うけど、iPod shuffle では、容量が少ない、液晶がないということから
- 自分の持ってるCDをランダムで再生しよう
という感じになる。
まあ、家ではネットラジオやFMが常にかかってまっせ！
という人には向いてるんじゃないでしょうか？僕は iPod 買っちゃったからい～らね。
